A New Chapter for SideKit: From Marketing Agency to Executive Business Partner Service

As life evolves, so does business. After almost two incredible years as a General Manager, four years as a Managing Director, and the arrival of my first child impending, I’m excited to announce that SideKit is shifting gears. I’ve made the decision to pivot SideKit from a marketing agency with a team of specialists to a Executive Business Partner (EBP) service - kicking off when I return from maternity leave in NZ Autumn 2025.

This change stems from my desire to balance both mum life and work life—something many of us know is no easy feat (or so I’m told)!

With a young family to care for and over a decade of diverse business experience under my belt, this new direction allows me to continue doing what I love while adapting to the new chapter of my personal life.

Why the Shift?

Up to now, SideKit thrived as a marketing agency. I led a fantastic team, helping businesses craft strong marketing strategies and execute them effectively. But, after moving into working as and balancing both General Manager for Jands New Zealand and Managing Director for SideKit —working on everything from operations, brand, marketing and general business management, sales team leadership, to business strategy and growth—my skill set expanded. This experience has provided insight into a broader scope of business, leadership, and management.

With the birth of my little one impending, I made the decision to pause SideKit until I return to work in NZ Autumn 2025. At this time, SideKit will be scaled back offering remote executive business partner services for a very small number of clients. This shift means I can offer clients the full breadth of my experience — in a part-time, mostly remote capacity for the time being.

What Does This Mean?

The idea is that I support leaders who want to lead from the front, with strategic and execution support in the background as an EBP. I have shared another blog on the difference between and Eexecutive Assistant and Executive Business Partner to provide clarity!

Whether you’re a small business owner, leadership team, managing director or executive, you’ll have access to personalised, high-level support. As your executive business partner, I can help streamline your operations, manage key projects, create business strategies and presentations, and act as a sounding board for business decisions—freeing up your time to focus on what truly matters - leading with confidence.

The beauty of this new model is that you get the expertise I offered in my General Manager, Managing Director, and Marketing & Operations Manager roles, but in a part-time, remote package. To see my experience, view my LinkedIn profile.

Balancing Mum Life and Remote Work

One of the biggest motivations for this pivot is my desire to have time for my family while continuing to work in the career I love - and have poured my heart and soul into for many years. I believe, with the support of my village*, it’s entirely possible to excel at both. This new direction for SideKit will allow me to find that balance.

I understand the challenges that leaders and business owners face, and I’m here to support you in achieving your goals while juggling your own busy lives.

*I am fortunate to have parents, soon-to-be doting grandparents, who have offered me hands-on, part-time grand-child care from NZ Autumn ‘25. This will allow me to maintain my career in a reduced capacity, knowing and trusting my parents share my values on early child development.

What Client’s Can Expect

With SideKit’s refreshed focus, you can expect a focused, one-on-one partnership. My goal is to become an integral part of your business and leadership team—someone who understands your unique needs and helps drive growth, awareness, and efficiency.

I bring to the table a diverse background in business management, marketing, and leadership, combined with my hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and teams. Whether you need help with operations, communications, or project management, I’ll be your right-hand partner in getting things done.

I am only looking for one to two long-term clients, short-term projects may be considered, so that I can be focused on genuinely understanding and focusing on the clients I work with.
