A New Chapter for SideKit: From Marketing Agency to Executive Business Partner Service
As life evolves, so does business. After almost two incredible years as a General Manager, four years as a Managing Director, and the arrival of my first child impending, I’m excited to announce that SideKit is shifting gears. I’ve made the decision to pivot SideKit from a marketing agency with a team of specialists to a Executive Business Partner (EBP) service - kicking off when I return from maternity leave in NZ Autumn 2025.
Executive Business Partner vs. Executive Assistant: What’s the Difference?
Both roles add value, but they’re different. An Executive Business Partner is your go-to for high-level strategy, decision-making, and helping to run the business. They’re your right hand when it comes to making big moves. An Executive Assistant, on the other hand, keeps everything organised and handles the daily grind, making sure you have the time and headspace to focus on leading.
In the end, it depends on what kind of support you need. If it’s strategic and long-term planning, an EBP might be your best bet. If you’re looking for someone to handle the details and make sure your schedule stays intact, an EA will keep things running smoothly.
Or maybe, it’s both!
